About Me
Private Paraire Hauraki 801371 is my Grandfather. He was buried on my 5th birthday, I have vague memories of him, My Grandfather's brother, Jimmy Hauraki 62718 died in action at Western Desert, 27 August 1942, and is buried at El Alamein Cemetery, Egypt. I feel that I need to do what I can to bring his remains home to the Hokianga where they belong. So this is going to be my journey.
