This photo was given to my father from a dear friend of my grandfather's Sonny (a.k.a. Taniwha) Waru. This photo was taken in Florence Italy 15 October 1945. On the back of the photo reads: Io facevo questa La Mia fotograffia in Firenze Italia il Giorno Quindici di Ottobre Mille, Nove cento E Quaranta Cinque. Signor Sam Otto Maori Battalion - I believe Sam Otto may have taken the picture, unsure but would like to find out more. (Photo is not to be used without permission)
