TUMATAROA, Pte. Ken. Reg.26070, 4 Reinf, NZ Infantry, 28th (Maori) Battalion, D Coy. Son of Ben and Tirita Tumataroa of Mohaka. One of three out of four brothers who did not return home after departing these isles to serve God, King and country in the Great war 1939 - 1945. A sacrifice long regretted.
