After his war service Henry farmed a sheep and cattle property at Maniatutu Road Okere Falls Rotorua. I worked for Henry's accountant at that time(1956). He was a big man, softly spoken and with a gentle demeanour. In 1970 I took over his financial affairs. It was a was a pleasure to know and work with him. He left a family of six and the family still own the farm. He never spoke to me of his war service.
