Lest We Forget

My mother Francis Iriaka(Rudolph) was named after him as this was her mother's brother. Little is known about my great uncle as he died so young. I am honored to be a descendant of his and for many years have had the priviledge to have his Army Portrait hang on our Family lounge wall. Though my mum knew little of her Uncle that served with other GREAT and BRAVE men in the 28th Maori Battalion, with the posting of his Memorial Stone on this site I believe this is a lovely tribute for her, myself and generations after us to remember our Beloved whanau as the HEROS they ALL were!!!Arohanui xxxx
