Incredible photo really considering the supposed moderate capability of the camera, of incoming German artillery or tank rounds hitting the desert in foreground and showing flash from further multiple firing in background. A real credit to Captain Ted Haywards abilty as a photographer. Appears with reasonable accuracy to be during mid 1942, but position in Egypt unknown.
