My dad Sgt Herewini (Jerry) Kahaki (Mid) born in Te Kaha , Te Whanau-a-Apanui on the 14 September 1916. Dad was with Charlie Company 10th reinforcement 28th Maori Battalion 2nd World War. Dad died in August 1980 and is lying in the Te Kaha cemetery with other soldiers he is at peace now. Miss you dad every day.
