70 years ago this month

For most of June the Battalion are at Arce, north-west of Cassino. CO Lt-Col Young is keeping them occupied and out of mischief. The American’s have occupied Rome. Read the war diary for June 1944 here.

My dad's next of kin is his wife my mother Te Tiriti O Waitangi Patara I am so lucky to have both my Parent's with me. I have many Photo's DVD's and storie's which I myself have made or received  regarding my dad and the 28th Maori Battalion. I restore old photo's as a hobby etc and   I am very proud of my Parent's.
