This occasion is the launch of the book Victoria Cross at Takrouna – The Haane Manahi Story by Dr. Paul Moon and published by Huia Publishers. Following the welcome held in Tamatekapua, the paramount meeting house of Te Arawa, servicemen past and present marched in a parade to Muruika and laid poppies at the tomb of Haane Manahi.
