Cretan local at 42nd St

This is Kostas, he has lived near the olive grove on 42nd Street all of his life. He was in a Bren gun carrier with New Zealand soldiers during the bayonet charge at 42nd St.

Kostas is sharing his story with the Ngarimu VC pilgrimage group when they visited the grove in May 2014. The woman with him is Arnya Sarparki a local Cretan archaeologist who translated for the group.
