Charles Lingman

Charles Lingman is not recorded on the current Battalion roll.  This indicates that while he may have trained with the Battalion it is possible that he did not serve overseas.  Before a soldier departed final medical examinations were conducted and some did not pass.  Family requests also prevented men from serving, this included wives declaring a soldier having two or more dependents or parents stating that they were reliant on the soldier as the only son to manage their farm.
