Yes our dad Thomas Te Maupakanga Searancke is indeed related to William N Searancke.
His Father was Wene (Piripi) and his mother was Hana Maupakanga.
Our Dad Thomas & Mum Sophie (nee Tangimoana Rakatau) have 12 children I am the youngest.

Hui Searancke was in the world war but my koro Tom Searancke (Tamakino) didnt go, and he died in 1995 but in November.

My dad is Thomas (Tom) Te Maupakanga Searancke as well. His father was Wene, one of the sons of Wiri. My dad died 10 December 1995. I think some people genuinely get these two mixed up.
