My koro next of kon last name is Hohapata.. no Hopapata. My koro was married to Elizabeth Duncan our pakaha surmame is Lawson = (Roihana) the family homestead is in Te Kaha, East Coast of the North Island ( Bay of Islands). My father is the oldest son of Tewi Tunoa Roihana his name is Hoani Leonard Lawson (deceased). Tewi's other children are Kennedy Lawson (deceased), Arbie Lawson (deceased), Richard Lawson (deceased), Lorraine Tuhiwai nee. Lawson (deceased), Mary-Kate Haggai nee.Lawson (deceased), Materoa Honeycombe nee Lawson, Houata Houben nee Lawson, Aunty baba and Aunty Tubby. Forgive me if I didnt get all their exact some of them have maori first names but I dont know them all, but this should help anyone to definatively link us or my koro to your whanau group if you are searching. Is anyone able to give me any info about my koro Tewi WW2 days where he went etc...
