70 years ago this month

For most of June the Battalion are at Arce, north-west of Cassino. CO Lt-Col Young is keeping them occupied and out of mischief. The American’s have occupied Rome. Read the war diary for June 1944 here.

Reginald/Retimana Tai brother of Huikakahu Tai. Reginald & Huikakahu are my Grandfather brothers'. Many thanks for the picture of Reginalds grave.

Retimana (as we knew him) was my halfbrother.Huikakahu/Bronco is listed under Taepa,Retimana under Tai,our dad's names. When we were kids our Dad took us to the Anzac Parades at the Government Gardens for years.
