how are you have you met the family yet grandads been gone for years well im amazed no ones come across your message yet..usually im the last to see stuff.but omg well amazing.
It absolutely amazes me that we could have lived two doors apart and I never knew you were Te Hokowhitu a Tu until you had passed away. But then, I was at an age where the last thing I wanted to know about was war....that was an adult thing. And I do understand that you didn't want to talk about it, like most veterans who returned home didn't speak of it.
