About Me
I am the nephew of Sidney Neilson, Killed in Action, 24th December, 1943 at Monte Cassino, Italy Serial No 801819. I served as Platoon Sergeant, anti~tank platoon, 7 Battalion, Royal New Zealand Infantry Regiment 7RNZIR until moving to Australia in 1980. I intend posting information about my uncle including photographs at a recent visit to his grave site at Moro River Cemetery, Italy and also of my visit to the 75th Anniversary of the battle of Mote Cassino in 2019.
