My name is Hone Nuku Tarawhiti, I am the son of a Ex- 28th Maori Battalion soldier as well as my many Grand-uncles that also served with the 28th Maori Battalion. I have written their life stories and have photos of my father and two Grand Uncles I would like to contirbute my research to this site for the benefit of all the families of the 28th Maori Battalion as well as my own Daughter and my Grand daughter. I attended this years Reunion in honour of my father that served with D Company and HQ Company.I would like to register as a user because of the pride of being attached to the Battalion from my father, but more of his story while he was in the 28th Maori Battalion
