Teenaa koutou katoa,

Ko HMS Daphne tooku Waka
Ko ngati Hamoa tooku Iwi
Ko Genevieve Pritchard tooku Ingoa
Teenaa koutou, teenaa koutou, teenaa koutou katoa
At the beginning of this year I finally enrolled in a beginners course at Te Waananga o Aotearoa out in Maangere, Taamaki Makaurau & we are currently studying how to do our Pepeha so I thought that I would introduce myself as above.
I have 3 adult sons & 1 adult daughter (who is the youngest) & 6 grandchildren. My children of course on their paternal side are Maaori (Rongowhakaata is their Iwi) & I never really gave any thought to finding out about their Maaori heritage until this year rolled around & being ANZAC day I just thought that I'd come in here & have a look around.
Thank you all so much for creating this informative page & I will keep on coming back in here to read more stories & have a tangi.
Ngaa mihi. Genevieve.
