It was a delight to see a photo of my father Edward (Eddie Wells). I have never seen this photo. Thank you for posting it on the 28MB Site. My dad was a member of the Whangarei Branch of the 28th Maori Bn since the mid 1950s. He and my mother enjoyed the companionship of the many A Coy men who lived in Whangarei after the War. The Whangarei Branch has no veterans left in its membership as our last veteran Mr Bill Pitman passed away last year.
