About Me
My grand uncle enlisted in the 28th Maori Battalion, from Apia, Samoa. There is not alot about him on this website yet, but I would like to be a contributor on his behalf and hopefully will be able to piece together the picture of who he is, in honor of his memory. He died alongside his brethren in arms, (I assume during the Battle of Monte Cassino, where he is now buried) and I hope I might stumble across some information through their stories that are shared here also.
