Padre Wiremu Te Tau Hūata (Ngāti Kahungunu, Waikato) makes introductory comments in Māori about the Battalion and then introduces the Battalion's Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel Monty Fairbrother, who makes a situation report. The himene Au, e Ihu (O Lord look down upon me) is followed by the blessing. Recorded in Taranto, Italy, November 1943.
