* - indicates 15th Reinforcements. These men left New Zealand with the 15th Reinforcements and were at sea when the war in Europe ended on 7 May 1945. They arrived in Egypt that month and were sent to Italy later in the year, but did not see action with the 28th Maori Battalion.
